Kadam is an educational project created by the ProKG Professional Club along with graduates of the world’s top universities. The project’s goal is to help outstanding talented high school students to enroll in the top universities of the USA, including Ivy League universities. This way we work on developing and strengthening youth’s potential. The project provides advisory, technical, and financial assistance related to exam preparation, assistance in filing applications, and covering their costs. The ProKG team together with graduates of top universities accompany and assist finalists until getting admitted to the university.

Participation criteria: 

1. Participants: High school students (9-11 grades) 
2. Citizenship: Kyrgyzstan (or currently living in Kyrgyzstan) 
3. Program for admission: Undergraduate/Bachelor’s degree 
4. Skills: communication, confidence, self-discipline, perseverance. 
5. Achievements: have outstanding achievements in a certain field (for example, a member of the national scientific Olympiad team, a prize-winner of international sports or scientific competitions, volunteer activities, students who are in the Top-1% of their classes, etc.)
6. Responsibility: participation in all project sessions, a great desire to study, and the desire to enroll in top universities in the USA.
7.  Selection: preference in the selection process will be given to candidates with excellent academic performance, a good level of English, and winners of national and international Olympiads who have successfully written qualifying essays. Volunteer experience and other achievements are welcome.
8. English proficiency level: Upper intermediate and higher

Selection process: 

1. First round: Filling out the application before March 12, 2023, 23:59 (Look through the application carefully, because it requires attaching particular documents)
2. Second round: Math and English test 
3. Interview

Timeframe:

Admission period: from February 1 - March 12, 2023, 23:59

Results announcement: April 3, 2023

Second round: April 6-7, 2023

2nd round’s results announcement: April 10, 2023

Interviews: April 11-13, 2023

Final results announcement: April 17, 2023

Camp: April 21-23, 2023;

End of the program: December 2023.

Cost of participation in the program:

All selected participants must pay 500 som to partially cover the transportation costs associated with participation in the camp, which will take place outside of Bishkek. All other expenses and additional costs will be covered by the ProKG Professional Club.
